A silencer for a flugel horn!

I used to play flugel horn, and still have the thing. I reeeeeeeally want to be able to play it again! However I live in a house of 10 students, with thin walls. They would NOT be happy at me badly playing it.

BUT I only today found out about silencers. Yamaha do a swanky one that you stick in the end, then plug your headphones in, so you can hear it but other people can’t! Awesome! Also £140. Great. 

Trying to look into less swanky, cheaper ones. 

Advice / buy me one? :P ?

1. bodayong answered: You can try ebay or craig’s list. You could also try a pawn shop but i’m not sure if they’re called that in england
